News
BioMedEcon receivest jointly-funded grant from the American Association of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunotherapy (AAAAI) and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (ACAAI) to examine the comparative effectiveness of allergen-specific immunotherapy versus symptomatic drug treatment among adults with allergic rhinitis.

In two previously-conducted comparative effectiveness studies, BioMedEcon demonstrated that children with newly diagnosed allergic rhinitis who subsequently received allergen-specific immunotherapy used significantly fewer health care resources and incurred significantly lower costs than children with allergic rhinitis who did not receive allergen-specific immunotherapy.
